Floral Care Instructions
Hand-Tied Bouquets
Start your bouquet off on the right foot by giving the stems a fresh cut. Pro tip: the best way to allow the stems to get the most water is to cut them at an angle. This will give them more surface area to drink as well as prevent them from sitting flush against the bottom of the vase. Give the stems a fresh cut every 1-2 days (as you change out the water).
Fill your vase with cool water. Pro Tip: Add 1/4 teaspoon of bleach to the water to extend the life of your blooms. Refill and/or change the water every 1-2 days to help reduce the growth of bacteria in your vase.
Vased Bouquets
Environment: Keep your arrangement out of direct sunlight and away from any vents.
Lifespan: Please note that while the premium flowers are everyone’s favorite, they are often the most delicate and will likely start wilting first. Removing the blooms as they begin wilting will extend the lifespan of the other, longer lasting stems. Pro tip: add 1/4 teaspoon of bleach to the water to extend the life of your blooms.
Water: It’s important to replace the water every 1-2 days, especially In the larger arrangements. Flowers drink a TON and when they don’t have clean water they will go down quickly! We also recommend cutting 1/4 inch off the bottom of the stems (at an angle) each time you change the water.
Centerpieces
Place centerpiece in location away from direct sunlight. Check every 1-2 days to ensure foam block is still damp. If dry, add 1/2 cup of water through the center of the arrangement.
